US CyberDome Education Center

Securing the U.S. Democratic Process

About Company

We educate the public about the importance and need for cyber security in programs, policies and institutions which impact all facets of the democratic process.

US CyberDome Education Center trains and mentors cybersecurity technicians who come from low income communities, veterans and others who seldom have access to practical training programs that lead to living wage jobs and provide cybersecurity to small and medium sized businesses. The goal of USCD Education Center is to address the shortage of cybersecurity specialists by training, mentoring, and placing students across all sectors of the economy in industries that rely on IT for its services and performance. As cyber security industry training and actual practice are fundamentally inseparable, classroom learning is combined with placement in the IT offices of USCD Education Center business partners. Students will receive a stipend, a laptop computer and a mentor during the training. At completion of training, students are placed in a job and become mentors for the next class. This strategy builds USCD Education Center Alumni Association. In year 2-3, The Center has built a team of experts that can then provide a fee for service to small and medium size businesses to meet their cybersecurity needs. Recruitment for USCD Education Center students will be with Housing Authorities, Community Based Organizations, Veterans Organization and community colleges. Funding for USCD Education Center will come from local and state agencies, community foundations, business partners and individual donors.

US CyberDome Education Center is an equal opportunity employer.
